I found this template at our local thrift store.  The outside ring is 8", so would stitch an 8 1/2" circle.  The inside ring is 6", so would stith a 5 1/2" circle.  The template has cross-hair markings to mark equal quarters.  It is made of 1/4" thick acrylic.  Shipping is not included in the price.
